Exam Pattern of SSC CGL Exam 2023:

Exam Pattern of Tier 1:
- The duration of the exam will be 1 hour.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.5 marks for each incorrectly answered question.
- The duration will be 80 minutes for visually handicapped candidates or candidates suffering from Cerebral Palsy.

Exam Pattern of Tier 2:
- The exam will comprise of 4 papers.
- The duration of the exam will be of 1 hour for each paper.
- The exam will be held via online mode.
- The 4 papers are- Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, Statistics and General Studies, Finance & Economics.
Exam Pattern of Tier 3:
- It is a Descriptive Paper including essay, précis or letter writing.
- It will comprise of total 100 marks.
- Duration of test will 60 minutes (80 minutes for candidates belonging to PwD Category)
- Pass marks is 33%.
Exam Pattern for Tier 4:
DEST-
- Candidates should type 2000 words in English in 15 minutes.
CPT-
- The proficiency of candidates in spreadsheets, word processing, and generation of slides is checked.
Tier 4 exam is about qualifying in nature and carries no marks.
