ICAR-CIFE Admission Application form 2023:- ICAR – Central institute of fisheries education is situated at Mumbai (Andheri West). Central Institute of fisheries education is a considered university. ICAR-CIFE was established by the government of India in 1961. ICAR-CIFE conducts the master’s degree and Ph.D programmes.
Central Institute of fisheries education conducts various courses in M.F.Sc. like as M.F.Sc in agriculture, aquatic animal health management, aquatic environment and management, fisheries economics, fisheries extension, fish biotechnology, fish genetic & breeding, fish nutrition & feed technology, fish physiology, and biochemistry. ICAR – CIFE takes the entrance exam every year for the academic session. Central institute if fisheries and technology also conduct the above courses in Ph.D programmes. CIFE Mumbai admission 2023 Eligibility, reservation and selection process
M.F.Sc. admission 2023 – ICAR-CIFE Admission Application form 2023 will release in the month of Feb. 2023. Aspirants can visit official website https://www.cife.edu.in/ to check authorised admission notification and details.
The institute /university (CIFE) takes the admission for students on two separate schemes in post graduate programmes.

The entrance policies and procedures for the upcoming students have been prescribed by the academic council.
1. Open competition advertisement:- Indian council of agriculture research (ICAR), New Delhi published the admission notification through leading newspapers to take admission in M.F.Sc. during the end of January and starting month of February for an academic session every year. The total number of students to be admitted in the master’s and doctorate programme will be decided by the academic council. Total seats are 77 available for M.F.Sc. including all streams.

Applicants should have a bachelor degree in fisheries science (B.F.Sc) under the 10+2+4 system.
Aspirants must have obtained at least 60% marks in B.F.Sc. or overall grade point average should be 6.50 out of 10.00. 3.25 out of 5.00 or 2.60 out of 4.00 for General students. For Sc/St candidates OGPA should be 6.0 out of 10.00, 3.00 out of 5.00 or 2.40 out of 4.0 and overall percentage should be 55. Minimum age limit should be 19 years as on July 2023 for academic year start in the month of August. The minimum eligibility for take admission in M.F.Sc. is B.F.Sc. , although the application having equivalent degree with five years also can apply.
Important document required at admission time:-
Date of birth certificate.
Matriculation (10th) certificate.
10+2/intermediate/pre university/pre degree or higher education certificate.
Schedule tribe or schedule tribe certificate authorised by district Magistrate.
Sponsorship certificate for in service students.
Exam Hall ticket –
The admit card for eligible candidates who have submitted their application successfully will be sent through registered post for combined competitive examination. If anybody didn’t received the admit card having eligible criteria they can contact to Registrar in institute. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of application form and receipt of postal specifies the date of applications.
Selection in M.F.Sc.
Candidates will select on the basis of subject wise merit list in combined competitive examination. Institute have reserved the 5 seats for in service students and two seats for physically handicapped students. A collaborate competitive examination for the allocate of ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and admittance to hundred percentage positions of post graduate Degree Programme at CIFE is supervised by the Education Division, ICAR, Delhi.
